Not sure?
Nor am I, that's why I've asked you the question :)
Joking aside
Here are few reasons why I think we do
1-easy habit
2-easy to remember to do because we have choreographed the exact movement needed to perform it
3-you understand the WHY behind it, which are the health reasons your parents used to bark on about
This kinda relates to setting goals
Firstly, with any goal that you set, YOUR reason WHY has to be STRONG
Otherwise, there is a very good chance of you never achieving your goals
You can't just simply say, I'd like to do xyz without any meaning to it
Lets take your weight loss goals for instance,
Lets be honest with ourselves, have you really achieved what you set out to do?
Why, because your reason wasn't strong enough
This then becomes bottom of your list of priorities
This then resulted in you valuing it less and less
Let me give you a quick example
Why do you always use this excuse?
"I couldn't eat breakfast because I was running too late"
However, you still found time to brush your teeth, didn't you?
Thought you were running late?
You basically are saying, brushing your teeth is more of a priority, you value it over breakfast (studies show that eating breakfast alone significantly helps you reduce your weight) and you have already established a BAD habit of doing this.
Just like the points above.
And before you do
Don't give me the ol' brushing your teeth takes only 2 minutes...
Because it only takes 3 minutes to boil an egg...
Crap excuse!
And you didn't have time??!
The habit of brushing your teeth was brought about by establishing small incremental steps
Once a day
Where if your parents probably started off by saying, you have to do this 29, 200 times (I just took average age x number of days a year here)
You would probably think sh?t, absolutely no way I am doing that
Same goes for those audacious goals you set yourself
Well, they may well seem huge goals to achieve
Or you don't quite have the self belief that this
Back to setting goals
Lets take a monetary example
Say, you wanted an extra £20,000 per year on top of what you already earn
Seems a lot right
Now when you break it down though
This is £1666.66 extra per month
Break it down further
Then it is an extra £416.66 per week
Break it down further
Which then is £83.33 per day (5 day working week)
Even more
Which then equates to £10 an hour? (40 hour work week)
Do you think you could go and raise £10 in the next hour?
What about the hour after that?
And so on...
£10 seems a whole lot more manageable than £20,000 right?
This is what we do; we show you how to break goals down in to manageable, easy steps.
Brushing your teeth once a day is easy right?
But knowing that it could be 29,000 times could deter you massively
And you'd certainly question yourself
What do I mean about the choreographed part?
It is just that!
It is the process in which you brush your teeth.
It's nearly the same every day
You wake up
Drag yourself to the bathroom
You then shower
You then brush your teeth
You then get changed
You then put the kettle on
Or something very similar to that
Its choreographed to perform a habit
Powerful indeed
Just like the system we have that 98% of the time gets our members RESULTS
Once you become familiar with the know-how, everything then becomes manageable
Possible even
This is the system we talk about in our one 2 one goal strategy sessions with our members.
We can also do the same for you
Just send an email to us with your preferred time and contact number ensuring that the subject line is 'make sure you
brush your teeth Joe'
And I'll hit you right back with our times and availability.
So that we can have a similar chat
Don't leave it too late though
Because once it is the month of January we are not taking on any new members
Unless you convince us you're the right fit!
Joe 'just broke the record for mentioning brush your teeth over a 1000 times in one email' Hanney
