Morning, would you like an English fry up?

Now, if you were with me this morning at the hotel I am staying and you woke up for breakfast just as I did.

What would have been your answer to this question?

Would you of had the full fry up or opted for something else?

I am not trying to trick you with the question by the way I am just curious.

You see, I don’t know if it is just me and my peripheral wondering mind but in my opinion many people that when they get the chance to stay in hotels for whatever reasons tend to see it as a mini vacation.

So simple options like the above, a choice of breakfast, though the majority of the time would be an healthy option people often tend to go with the fry up, a full English when at an hotel for instance.

Would you agree?

Why is this?

Is because it seems a luxury?

You are not the one having to prepare it.

More often than not you have a waiter service.

The funny thing is, it doesn’t stop there.

People also seem to eat A LOT more than they would if they were just at home.

How about this they’d even have the extra glass of orange juice or opt for cream over the milk.

Why?

These are the sort of questions that go around in my head when I find myself in new environments every so often.

Just like yesterday but instead of just holding a thought to myself I couldn’t help myself to ask two people
why they were having ‘slim shakes’ over real food

It just looked odd.

In a Hilton restaurant, surrounded by many people and plenty of menu options mind you, that they were having slim shakes.

I had to approach and ask the question…

But I’ll share this story with you next week otherwise I’ll lose track of this message.

And for now back to my breakfast this morning.

What would you have chosen?

Have you ever done the above?

Why would you sabotage yourself?

There are other options.

It’s like being a naughty kid at school and kinda knowing that you might get away with it

But as a matter of fact, your body won’t forget about it

You minds eye might be able too

But not the result that shows on your body.

Think about this next time when you find yourself in this situation.

My choice, I had a black coffee, turkey slices, cottage cheese with a side of berries and natural probiotic yoghurt.
