What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do - FREE WORKSHOP

Great quote by Tim Ferriss, don’t you agree?

Think about this for one minute (that’s right, take a couple of minutes from your day and just think about this)

It’s VERY true right?

It could be number of things.

A fear of investing in yourself.

A fear of leaving a job.

A fear of leaving a marriage.

A fear of not living.

A fear of joining a gym.

A fear of going clothes shopping.

A fear of social situations.

A fear of public speaking.

The list is endless…

Over somewhat the short life I’ve had I have experienced at least all of these at some point or other for whatever reason.

The three I will touch on today though are ‘a fear of sociable situations’, ‘public speaking’ and ‘investing on myself’

You’re probably thinking “Social situations”

Yes, that’s right.

Im kinda introvert in many ways. When it’s in the gym environment it’s what I know best and is when I'm most comfortable in, so it doesn't count here.

But.

When it comes to other social situations like mingling with a partners family, or attending a networking event or attending a course where I fear that I am out of my depth.

I'm not quite sure if it's the fear factor or just the boring side of me coming out.

It’s probably a bit like how you may feel when you've been asked to attend the Christmas party this year and you don’t quite feel comfortable wearing that dress of yours.

Investing in myself is not really a biggy but when it comes to putting my money where my mouth is, it does become a fearful event.

You see.

Public speaking is something that’s pretty scary for anyone.

They say its people’s number one fear with death being number two.

Crazy right?

Anyhow, as I preach in many of my emails to you about investing in yourself and this sometimes means investing a lot more than you have done in the past.

Especially, if you want the best.

So just recently I had found myself in this situation.

I personally want to become a GREAT speaker and to do that I need to learn from the best.

The best costs me £4000 for 4 days.

He shares the stage with the likes of Richard Branson, Donald Trump, Seb Coe, Anthony Robbins just to name a few.

So I found this guy, figured the price, considered that is a combination of all of my fears “public speaking, sociable situations (out of my comfort zone) and a huge investment £4000.

So I decide to go through with it!

I had considered this many times before I actually decided to do it.

Pondered on his website every day for a month, thinking should I do this or not?

I even went to see the speaker mentor ‘live’ to see if he wasn't bluffing.

He certainly wasn't.

I get emails from him almost weekly.

And bang.

I just decided!!!!!

You see, anyone who knows me knows that my brain processes information at the speed of lightening.
I think this is the introvert in me.

This is how I came about my decision to do this.

1-what is the worst thing that can happen (I stay where I am)

2-my reason WHY is huge to do this (I want to be the best public speaker I can be so that I can help even MORE people with their health issues)

3-which led to answer certain questions around developing this goal of mine –POWERFUL GOAL SETTING TECHNIQUE I HAVE DEVELOPED (100% of the time the goals you set you’ll achieve)

4-once I had decided to do this nothing was going to get in my way. Not even trying to find the £4000 to pay for it because I knew if I wanted it that bad I will find a way to make it happen.

Kinda reminds me of this quote-
“There’s a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstances permit. When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results” Art Turock

Now the course is in a few weeks.

I’ll report back to you once I’ve completed it.

Now, why did I share this with you?

Well, you are most likely familiar with having found yourself in similar situation like I listed above.

And you continue to find yourself in situations like this.

The difference is.

How do you get from being in that FEARFUL state of mind to ACTUALLY taking ACTION?

Well, I want to share with you the very mental building blocks I put in place to go from this mentality to one that makes you take action.

Remember the POWERFUL GOAL SETTING TECHNIQUE I mentioned above.

Just like I did on myself and the same I do for our members.

Also, I have already told you that I want to become the best public speaker in my industry and to do that I need to practice “practice makes perfect” right?

This is perfect to practice some more.

And you get to be my critique and in RETURN I help you set some powerful goals that you can finally achieve eliminating any fear factors that you may have in the process.

This is going to be a very special, one off workshop. It won’t be repeated. It’s FREE.
