Afraid of not being accepted

Let me tell you about a member we have that goes by the name of Vishal.

He desperately needed help with a few things, like-

Managing his work responsibilities

More Family time

Better Health

Dealing with Financial issues

And Managing his time better.

It came a time when he just had enough.

You've probably felt like this too, right?

He had reached a stage where he cared no more. His heart wanted to make a change, but everything he had
tried had not worked.

Me too.

I tell ya, I spent half of my life trying to convince everyone that I was going to be a professional footballer

I trained like you wouldn't believe.

Every second of the day, you wouldn't see me without a football.

I loved it!

But cut a long story short, I found myself in similar situation to Vishals above.

I had turned 21

To this day I cannot explain why but I walked from a professional contract at Stoke City

Makes me sad thinking about it now.

But I did.

Did I give up.

Couldn't I cut it at the top.

Was I failure? In my mother's words I was?!

Football up until this time was my income security.

Football until this time was my only family.

Football until this time was my way of keeping healthy

Football was my responsibility

Football was my escape.

Not anymore though.

I needed help.

Help to direct my course of life.

Because it was going nowhere.

Then one night when surfing the net I came across a course in Connecticut and one in New York, bearing in mind I had never travelled further than Skegness for an holiday, this was the other side of the world...

Without even thinking about it.

I didn't know what was even going through my head

I just booked to go.

At 21, I think this was big.

But I had nothing to lose. At the time I thought I had tried everything when in reality that probably wasn't quite true.

Anyway, that course, travelling to another country opened my eyes up to 'possibility'

To this day, it changed the course of my life.

It shown me that no matter where you are in life, there is someone or something that can help you

Just like Vishal, came to me.

Look at Vishal now

"RWL has provided me with a solution. I can now manage everything and still have a smile on my face ( I never smiled much, ask anyone who knows me!). RWL has given me a way to meet my goals within the gym and outside. You have a life member in me. And if I have to leave due to unforseen circumstances, I will take all the knowledge you have given to ensure my life and the life of all around me remain at the high it is now."
I met people in New York, Vishal met me.

Someone is out there waiting for you.

I was once told when I was thinking of pursuing Buddhism, "its not you that pursues Buddhism, it's the Buddha that will find you"

If you are believer in a law of attraction, then this couldn't be any truer

If you are still unsure where I am going with this or of how this can help you.

Well, let me leave you with this thought (quite possibly the most powerful mind set shift you could have if you want to make a change for the better)

I couldn't have said it any better, than BG himself;

"There comes a time when your first step is NOT believing you can become something.

The first step is releasing yourself from something.

You cannot change your life by artificially implanting a new story of possibility until you accept that the
current story you have is just that... a story."

And therefore, you are completely in control of change.

Releasing yourself can be that of

-negative people (I either spend less time with them, or I delete them out of my life including family)

-what your family wanted you to be when you grow up

-what other people think you should be but you want something else

-of others that are not quite who you want to be. You are the average of 5 people you hang around most with (If I didn't do this, I would be in prison now serving a sentence for something either drugs or vandalism, would prob have 5 kids, and believe the world is against me - the friends i grew up with do)

-following the mainstream diets and gyms

-bothered about people challenging you on your change

The list goes on.

This is hard to believe I know

I've been there

You just need someone to ASK YOU THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

The RIGHT QUESTIONS will give you the better ANSWERS

The REAL ANSWERS that you need to KNOW!

Joe 'Always wanted to be Zinedine Zidane' Hanney

Ps- I travel back to New York in a few weeks time, 10 years on from when I was last there. I'm pretty excited but very nervous at the same time, I just don't know how it will affect me emotionally but you'll be sure the first to know ;)
