Have you seen this programme?
Well, basically it's hosted by a guy called Nev
A "catfish" is a person who creates fake personal profiles on social media sites-pretending to be someone more outwardly appealing than his/her true self, by using someone else's pictures and false biographical information.
These "catfish" usually intend to trick an unsuspecting person or persons into falling in love with them.
Nev, found himself at the end of one of these tricks and decided to create a documentary out of it
Which then led on to what is now called 'Cat Fish: The TV Show'
Where he intends to help many other people who have found themselves in a similar situation
You must have seen the show, its hilarious and heart breaking all at the same time
If not, I highly recommend that you watch it.
It kinda reminds me of the Herbalife distributers, VI 90 snowflakes and PT's that are more computer nerds than they are trainers
My spam folder is full of these people trying to convince me that I should do this and do that (basically help them sell their product because I have the clients that they target)
And that it gets life changing results for people
Blah blah blah
The people behind these products have never that's NEVER by the way helped a single client get results
Check out the message I got recently from VI 90 distributer - well thats what they claimed to be :)
Actually I just checked it, it is way too long to post plus it'll bore the life out of you (if however, you want to read it please feel free to email me and I'll send it to you)
To me, that Cat's Fish right there
These people reaching out to me ... cold
Claim they are experts
But all they're interested in is the money
They do the same to you right?
Think I might do a TV show on these fakes
Same goes for PT's that are constantly on Facebook... or claiming they get so called results via internet forums or
write articles claiming they are the experts..
Well, i gotta clue for you..
You will not see our coaches on Facebook or writing as many articles etc.
Why...
Because they are too busy focusing on working with our clients
They are in demand
They don't have the time to muck around on Facebook
Like the Cat Fish above
Claiming they do this and do that for their clients
When in fact they have no clients
Hence why they have so much time on their hands to be on Facebook and other forums
"PT Fish"
That's what I'll call them :)
Now, here are 3 simple tricks to call their bluff if you ever get collared by one of these snowflakes
1- Ask them to provide 10 client video testimonials of clients just like you. Before and after pictures and written testimonials don't cut it any more
2- Ask for a try before you buy option
3- Ask them what makes them different from anyone else and what is there experience?
Simple!
Joe 'the real deal' Hanney
Ps still got to tell you about my experience at the gym in New York, not forgotten, I'll hopefully get something out about this on Friday
