Not getting any smaller, despite exercising

It happens

And I mean it happens a lot

I see it all the time

Its one of the first discussions we have with members

The fact is

Exercise is the least most important element when trying to get smaller

So why with many people is it your number one priority when attempting to lose weight or get smaller

You know what I mean right?

It will happen mostly in January, January 2014 that is, when you set new year's resolutions

You will say something along the lines of "I'm going to finally sort this weight problem out by going to the gym or I'm
going to join xx gym in January and finally lose this weight"

Gym in most peoples mind is going to a place to exercise

So are you putting exercise at the top of a long list of things you need to do to lose weight?

Is exercise the most important thing you need to do to lose weight?

I think you think so?

Think of this for one minute

You eat a chocolate bar that is 200 calories say

Can you then just jump on a treadmill and burn the same 200 calories that you just consumed

In theory, this would create balance right

Ok, so if that creates balance, then you would need to burn more right?

So,  another question. Lets say you burn 500 calories, so that makes it a 300 calorie deficit

You should lose weight right

Well, that's what the expert says.

When in fact, in reality this is not true.

Ask Paula, a member she was doing just this. She came to us with this very same problem.

"My biggest struggle/pain was my size and not getting any smaller, despite exercising"

Now, Paula has been with us for just under 3 years now and I would love to show you a before and after picture but as you can imagine this is deeply personal to Paula so you would have to ask her about her success and more importantly you'd have to ask her if she has done any cardio whilst being a member with us.

Well, I can tell you that answer

"no"

So, if it isn't cardio (I say cardio because that is what most people will relate exercising too) what is it then?

There are many elements that need attention

Broken down in to manageable chunks

Like first, mental state,

Then nutrition,

Then a process that we call unique identification - a plan drawn up specifically for you from a global approach of assessments

Then we focus on exercise.

You see, it is last in our hierarchy.

It is not only last for the reasons discussed above but because exercise alone as many other factors that need to be considered like time, exercise experience, health, intensity, stress, plus much more.

But don't let this overwhelm you, this is where Sam, our program design director designs this plan for you and makes it very simple and usable for you.

The complicated stuff is what Sam is good at, he just delivers the simple step by step program to you, so you are now able to achieve your goal.
